These alarms consist of a small base unit and PIR detectors and door / window triggers that connect via wireless to the base unit.
i.e. NO WIRING! Connect your whole home up in less than 10 minutes!
The alarm base unit holds a SIM card.
The idea is... someone ( dumb enough with cameras everywhere )breaks in, triggers the alarm, you get an SMS on your mobile phone.
You then either log into your camera system to have a look or call the police or your neighbour to go and have a look.
This is the end of alarms costing $1000 and all the associated false call outs and fees.
